- Carry out 1D simulations to support Aero/Thermal Development and Assessment for Powertrain Cooling, A/C System sizing and optimization, overall thermal system development
- Work on future vehicle programs with a focus on process efficiency and innovation
- Work closely with test engineers and release groups to confirm 1D system model validity and correlation
- Prepare high quality presentations to communicate simulation results and design recommendations
- Vehicle development activity and proactively take ownership of simulation activity to best guide the design team.
- Knowledgeable about automotive subsytems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in one or more of the following 1D system network modeling software is preferred; Flowmaster, KULI, Amesim, Matlab/Simulink
